“Our relationships build our Community” – Structured dialog among young people and decision makers in the field of youth”, is the name of our project. This project tries to promote political participation of young people from a community approach and reflection oriented, analysis and approach of the dynamics in emotional and sexual relationships in teenagers and youngsters. So we can pay attention to the social alarm that indicates us an uprising in sexist dynamics in this group of people; they are the fundamental subjects of development and key drivers of change and future transformation.This project is submitted by Fundación Vinjoy. This Asturian entity treasures more than a century of social commitment and extensive experience in the implementation of social projects and attention to groups who need supportive care. It is contextualized within Programa Puente, an accompanying program and educational intervention for teenagers and youth at high risk and / or social conflict. Also is focused in performing the first phase of the anthropological study about genre stereotypes.The overall objective of this project is to achieve a more inclusive society by promoting the active participation of adolescents and youth in decision-making in municipal youth policies that directly affect them. The specific objectives – aimed at young participants- are: enhance their skills and personal skills; obtain capabilities to develop a repertoire of actions and behaviors to develop in society; acquire motivation attitudes in participatory processes of community in which they live, and increase interest and responsibility in the areas that concern them; The specific objectives – aimed at the community – are: the visibility of gender stereotypes and roles, enabling channels of communication with decision makers on youth decisions in the field of municipal policies, in order to incorporate proposals and lines of action in the field emotional / sexual peer relations and, to show society the reality in relation to gender roles and stereotypes from the perspective of the protagonists own.Through three activities, led by the young participants and present throughout the process: 1. working sessions of information, training and reflection; 2. interviews with key players in the field of youth and subsequent analysis, as part of an anthropological study of gender stereotypes, and, 3. participation by young people in the democratic life of Oviedo: Presentation of the report and analysis results of reality and subsequent debate on the subject among young people and participants, experts and policy makers in the field of Youth council of Oviedo, and with a methodology based on group dynamics, peer learning and reflection.30 young people aged between 16 and 30 years, from vulnerable groups, or participate in training related to leisure time and educational and / or social intervention, youth with intellectual disabilities and those who, not linked to the institution, could be incorporated. It is expected to boost collaboration with different social and political leaders and educators, improve and / or acquire prosocial behaviors and attitudes, increase interest and responsibility in areas affecting young people, as well as active involvement in participatory processes of the community in which they live, are also expected, the impact at the level of local youth policy (City of Oviedo) incorporating reflections, difficulties, concerns, suggestions for improvement related expected with the creation of programs and resources on youth at Municipal Plan for Childhood and Adolescence of the City of Oviedo and / or supply of Programs for Children, Family and Youth and Social Participation, Education, Health and Sports in Oviedo 's youth is addressed.The potential long-term benefits involve the application of measures tailored to the needs of young people as a result of their participation in the process as well as the maintenance and improvement of the expected results.
