Lesser Poland Youth Dialogue is a project of structured dialogue with decision-makers in the field of youth based on innovative tool of social consultations - board game. It will be created by group of 25 young people in age of 16-20 from Cracow, cooperating with around 300 young people in the same age from al over region - those young people will take part in social consultations on social issues conducted through usage of the board game produced before. In the process wil also take part youth workers and decision makers in the field of youth. The project aims at establishing structures of understanding, dialogue, cooperation and mutual support between youth and representatives of local authorities, as well as development of civic competences and attitudes among Lesser Poland youth: sense of social influence and better adjustment of public policies to real needs of young people. During the project we are gong to create an educatonal board game simulating mechanisms of civil society, which will be used during few meetings with young people in their cities. Those who will "win" tournaments in their cities will meet for the final round in Cracow, during which they will meet with important politicians, specialists and decision-makers. the game will be in the same time a tool of measuring public opinion of young people on certain issues of their concern and basing on it there will be formulated recommendations for local authorities. It will be also a tool of regular social consultations under the structured dialogue programme, which results will be analysed and translated into concrete policies and programs on local, regional, national and european level. The project will lead to stabilisation of consultation-procedures with young people and establishment of advisory bodies consisting of young people for local authorities in at least few cities in Lesser Poland.
