Zavod Manipura and17 partner organizations from 17 different countries in Europe and neighboring countries have decided to make a training course to increase the potential and the quality of short term EVS projects for young people with fewer opportunities. Our motivation for this activity comes from the awarness that the good quality of short term EVS projects for young people with fewer opportunities requires specific approach and reliable partnerships among sending and hosting organizations. We can not establish the necessary trust and effective partnerships from a distance. We need to work together and share the ideas and experiences. We all have a need to find more reliable partners and this event is a great opportunity. At the same time we will improve our way of working and train ourselves for more productive and quality projects. A 5 day training course with specific attention to reality of each partner organization will help the representatives reflect on their possibilities and points of adaptation. A full day simulation exercise will accelerate this process. The aimed results of this training course are: - increased opportunities for the target group to go on EVS, as there will be better partnerships and better understanding of each others realities - further steps towards a wider and stronger network which can be established by going for a strategic partnership with the results as a better coordination, quality increasment, capacity building and creating a voice towards other involved parties.
