Higher education student and staff mobility project

Although we are a small HEI, Westerdals has recently had a strategic aim to become more international, and active participation in Erasmus+ is an important part of this. Although we had hardly participated actively in Erasmus+, we set a goal of sending 6 students out, receiving about the equal amount of students, and 4 staff. We achieved the goal for outgoing (6) and more or less for incoming (4) students. As for staff, we fell short by 2 staff. This is probably partly due to increased work load because of the merger. It is an encouraging start, as we aim to much expand our international presence in the next few years. We are also part of two EU-funded research projects, and Erasmus+ now has a secure place in our institutional strategy.
