Polymer Technology College experienced good practice regarding the mobility of its students and employees. PTC established close contacts with foreign institutions of higher education in the Erasmus programme (now Erasmus+). PTC received funding for the implementation of 4 mobility transfers (2 employees and 2 students) in the academic year 2014/2015. Since students were extremely interested in mobility, we exchanged one staff mobility for student mobility to enable students to do part of their practical training abroad. The mission of Polymer Technology College is to educate socially responsible, innovative and competent graduate engineers who help industry to develop new products and services with higher added value and high market potential, thereby increasing their competitiveness in local and global markets. We are confident that our students can achieve the mentioned competences only through comprehensive experience, including those acquired abroad. Therefore, we encourage these activities and promote them through the presentation of good practices. In the academic year 2014/2015, Polymer Technology College has carried out 3 student mobilities - 1 student mobility for studies and 2 student mobilities for traineeships. All three students returned from abroad with a positive experience and enhanced self-esteem. In 2014, the first master degree student went to the University of Leoben to carry out part of his research work for master's thesis. PTC has collaborated with University of Leoben traditionally very well and mobility transfers among both institutions are frequent. The student?s master?s thesis was graded with excellent mark and he was employed at the polymer processing company only a few months after he completed his master?s degree. Another student went on 2-month practical training at neighbouring Croatia at the University of Split. She has now very close contacts with professors at the University and says that it was one of her best experiences during her study. The third student went to neighbouring Austria to perform practical training in a well-established company in the field of recycling. The student was very pleased with the work, he improved his knowledge of German language and was offered an employment. Three months after returning home he got there a permanent job. The results of mobility testify about extraordinary importance of acquisition of the key competences for students / graduates. These activities will be certainly enhanced in the future. Regarding the mobility of employees, the Polymer Technology College signed a new inter-institutional agreement with the University of Aachen. There was already one exchange. We can conclude that all these activities have contributed significantly to international recognition of the Polymer Technology College.
