This project should improve the knowledge of English and arise the interest for other languages, countries and cultures (of pupils and teachers). English should be updated and meet the needs of the education standards and CLIL (=content and language integrated learning) and help to raise our teaching quality and our school development. We want to improve our teaching skills and methods and provide the new ideas and abilities to the pupils and the colleagues at our schools. Our Secondary School is situated in a rural and economically disadvantaged region with poor bus connections to the capital of Upper Austria. So we don't want the pupils to leave for the bigger cities, but we do want them to attend Grammar and higher technical schools in order to pass the A-levels and study at university. So our pupils should have better chances and possibilities for the future. This project should lead to secure the peace in Europe by working together and help to improve the communication between countries.
